What is an ASN?
An Autonomous System Number identifies a network that participates in Internet routing. Large ISPs, hosting companies, cloud providers and some organizations operate one or more autonomous systems.
Reverse DNS
A PTR record maps an IP address back to a hostname when one has been published. Reverse DNS is common for servers and important in email infrastructure, but many client IPs have generic or no PTR records.
Privacy and accuracy
Location and organization data are based on public network information and third-party IP databases. They are approximate and should not be treated as proof of a person's physical location or identity.
